Terms of use
1. These terms
These terms apply to the The Invoice Box app and this website, provided by Bolbots Solutions (Pty) Ltd (registration number 2026/586542/07), Midrand, Gauteng, South Africa ("we"). By using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. What the app is
The Invoice Box helps you make quotes, invoices, credit notes, delivery notes, purchase orders, statements and reports. It runs on your device and works without an internet connection. There is no account.
3. Your data and your backups
Your data is stored only on your device. We do not hold a copy and cannot recover it if your device is lost, reset or replaced, or if the app is uninstalled. Making and keeping backups is your responsibility; the app reminds you and makes the backup file, but where you keep it is up to you.
4. Your documents are yours to check
The app calculates totals, tax and balances from what you enter. You are responsible for the documents you issue: the amounts, tax rates and registration details on them, and whether they meet the rules that apply to your business. The app is not tax, accounting or legal advice.
5. Licence
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the app for your own business. You may not copy, resell or reverse-engineer it except where the law allows. Paid features or plans, if offered later, will be described before you pay, and paid through the app store.
6. Availability and changes
We may update the app to fix problems or add features. We aim to keep your data readable across updates and to give notice of any change that affects it. We may stop offering the app; if we do, the app on your device and your backups stay usable for your existing data.
7. No warranty
The app is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we make no promise that it will be free of errors or suit every purpose.
8. Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profit or business, arising from use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be limited. [To confirm: the liability limit and the consumer law that applies.]
9. Law
These terms are governed by the law of South Africa. [To confirm.]
